Sara and Kirk are one of those couples you just simply can’t get enough of! Their day was filled with lots of laughter, plenty of Montana men and tons of personal details. They fused Sara’s elegant decor with Kirk’s down home vibe (which included a great country band, obviously) to throw one beautiful affair in a little place not far from their hometown :-) And even though their ceremony was completely rained out, these two were all smiles because regardless of the weather, they were finally getting married and starting their newest adventure together! And man have these two been on quite a few adventures already!! :-)
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. McCamish!!! :-)

I can’t say enough how much I fell in love with this trip. After our road trip in Ireland, which was AMAZING, all we wanted to do was take a vacation where we could relax. I have also been wanting to travel for my birthday for the last couple years because when your birthday is smack dab in the middle of the endless Midwestern winter, you want nothing more than to get out of town.
So with one standing reservation and two airplane tickets we booked a little villa in Turks and Caicos and jetted-off to sunshine and sand!
The main thing about this trip versus every other trip we have been on is the lack of planning. We wanted to allow ourselves to completely let go of all the hecticness we feel 24/7. You know the “I have to do this, and this, and answer this email.” We came in with zero plans and we kind-of loved it. Our mornings were spent plopping down in the sand and watching the sunrise. We’d drive into town grab a coffee, a beignet (from the sweetest french lady, ever), and walk along the beach. Afterwards, the day was ours for the taking. Inevitably we always ended up sprawled out under some umbrella soaking up every ounce of fresh air we possibly could and happily wiggling our toes in the sand. One day, we even rented a puppy to come join us…seriously, we did. :-) (and we went back an embarrassingly amount of times to visit them).
Now that we’re back, I am counting down the days until wedding season starts. I can’t believe how amazing these couples are and how much I already love each and every single one of them. 2014 will definitely be one for the books!! :-)
Sometimes when opportunity presents itself its hard to pull yourself away from work. While home for the holidays, my adorable sister-in-law was about to perform at Church (this girl has a killer singing voice)! I quickly pulled her out into the FREEZING snow to snap a few photos of her. Immediately after this session, we were huddled next to the fire when we received one of the most beautiful snowfalls I’ve ever seen. It was pure magic waking up on Christmas morning to find everything covered with snow. Plus it didn’t hurt to have a little hot chocolate for breakfast either. :-)
I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year!
I don’t think snow could fall any prettier than in this session! Patrick and Mara picked the most perfect wintry backdrop for their little session in Rice Park, where they sported their hilarious “Best Friends” hats (seriously the best thing I’ve ever seen!) and traipsed around in the frigid snow with little Jackson. These three are ridiculously hilarious together and I cannot get enough of them!! :-)
